      Back of the postcard

Dear Mr Ganevich

Since 14 July 2021, Ales Bialiatski, President of the Human Rights Centre "Viasna" and winner of the Nobel Peace Prize in 2022, has been innocently in prison. In March 2023, he was arbitrarily sentenced to 10 years in an unfair and politically motivated show trial.

Ales Bialiatski is one of around 1,500 political prisoners in the Republic of Belarus. They are all in prison solely because they have been exercising their human rights to freedom of expression, assembly and association.

I therefore call on you to immediately and unconditionally release Ales Bialiatski and all other political prisoners in Belarus. The Belarusian regime's repression of human rights defenders and dissidents must end immediately!

Respectfully
