* The reason why the reserves are so high is that a large part of the donations to Libereco are made in the (pre-)Christmas period and can therefore only be allocated to the respective projects in the following year. For example, in January 2021, 16,000 euros were transferred to BY_Help and 3,000 euros to Belarusian victims of repression. A detailed list can be found in the Transparency Report 2021 (coming soon).

All donations to Libereco are tax-deductible in Germany, Switzerland and the Netherlands because we are recognised as a non-profit organisation in all three countries.
As Libereco is run by volunteers, we are able to pass on 100 percent of the donations for Belaruns and Ukraine directly to those in need and our partner organisations on the ground. We use the general donations for running costs and the development of our organisation, including bank and transfer fees, postage, insurance, web hosting, salaries for interns, travel expenses as well as for our public relations (flyers, brochures, stickers, advertising, etc.).
