Libereco Switzerland

Following the founding of the German association ‘Libereco – Partnership for Human Rights’ in 2009, an association of the same name was founded in Switzerland in 2010.

Libereco is an independent Swiss non-governmental organisation that is committed to the protection of human rights in Belarus and Ukraine.

Libereco stands up for people who are persecuted because of their political or civic engagement and supports the forces of a critical and lively civil society in Belarus and Ukraine.

Libereco provides information on human rights violations, supports victims of war and dictatorship and provides humanitarian aid, including psychosocial support.

Libereco cooperates closely with Belarusian and Ukrainian organisations and the people on the ground. Our projects and aid activities are geared towards the current needs of civil society and the people in Belarus and Ukraine.
