From the beginning of the full-scale invasion, AID 46 has provided medical assistance to the civilian population in Kharkiv. They continue to support people who are being evacuated from front-line areas, accompany humanitarian missions as medical personnel, provide medical care after shelling, and train civilians in first aid.
The founding members of Angels of Salvation (AoS) have been active in humanitarian work since 2014, initially on a voluntary basis in Sloviansk (Donetsk region). With the full-scale invasion in 2022, they evacuated to Dnipro and founded a non-profit organisation to meet the increasing needs of the local population. Our collaboration began in November 2022, and we have already carried out over 20 projects together.
Crisis Insight is a Ukrainian public organisation set up in 2025 by a team of humanitarian specialists responding to the consequences of Russia’s invasion since 2022. Over three years of managing evacuations, coordinating protection for displaced persons and improving conditions in residential care facilities, the team developed operational expertise. Today, Crisis Insight combines this experience with research and policy work, delivering aid directly wherever it is needed.
The team behind the De-Occupation Shop has been active since March 2024, supporting agricultural farms in the Kharkiv region. Following the liberation of these areas, many farmers face significant challenges, including destroyed infrastructure and limited access to markets, making it difficult to resume their livelihoods. The organization supports them along the entire value chain, from providing seeds to selling the harvest in the city of Kharkiv. The products are now available in two shops, and the proceeds go directly back to the farmers, enabling them to continue production and sustain their income.
Democratic Initiatives Incubator is a Ukrainian NGO founded in 2022 by human rights advocates, educators, lawyers, and security experts. The organization promotes human rights, democracy, non-formal education, youth engagement, anti-discrimination initiatives, and international solidarity programs, working to strengthen civic participation and democratic values in times of social and political challenges.
The organisation Dobri Vchynky Razom, based in Kharkiv, supports vulnerable people and abandoned animals. It is also involved in the reconstruction of destroyed buildings and infrastructure. Its aim is to strengthen communities in need and provide protection for helpless animals.
We share the longest partnership and cooperation with East SOS. After we met in the Donbas in 2014, we began working together and continue to do so to this day. In February 2022, East SOS evacuated to Uzhhorod to continue their work. Less than two weeks later, two of our employees arrived there to support them for the months that followed. From Uzhhorod, they coordinated evacuations, incoming aid convoys and loaded trains with humanitarian goods.
The Chernihiv Educational Human Rights House is an established organisation that, like us, is committed to protecting human rights. In Chernihiv, they are actively involved in human rights education for young people and document potential war crimes in Ukraine, with a special focus on attacks on schools and educational institutions.
Is a youth-led civic organization that empowers young people to actively participate in community development, advocacy, and decision-making processes. Through educational programs, leadership training, policy engagement, and local initiatives, the organization strengthens youth participation, promotes civic responsibility, and supports the development of democratic and inclusive communities across Ukraine.
Ukrainian activists and artists founded Repair Together at the end of April 2022, after large areas around Kyiv and Chernihiv had been liberated. They combine clean-up and repair work with raves to offer volunteers a creative break from the everyday reality of war.
Somatic Experiencing Ukraine implements, disseminates and develops Somatic Experiencing in Ukraine. Focusing on somatic crisis support, it also offers trauma-informed psychosocial support to war-affected, vulnerable populations, with a particular focus on those who help others.
The ‘We are Brothers, we are Ukrainians’ team, based in Kharkiv, began their work as a humanitarian organisation at the start of the full-scale invasion. Today, the team consists of 30 employees from various professional backgrounds. The organisation focuses on providing comprehensive humanitarian aid to people in the Kharkiv and Donetsk regions.
X-Traverse was founded at the beginning of the full-scale invasion. The team decided not to leave Kharkiv and has been tirelessly involved in humanitarian efforts. In the first few months, they provided food, hygiene products and clothing to civilians who had been sheltering in metro stations for weeks, and evacuated civilians from front-line areas. Now, in 2025, they are providing medical care in rural areas and running an animal shelter for rescued dogs.
Territory is a Ukrainian NGO that has worked at the intersection of human rights, culture, and humanitarian action since 2011. Based in the Khmelnytskyi region, it runs Bakota Hub, a community space in a rural area of Podillia, and works directly with vulnerable groups, including internally displaced persons, elderly people, people with disabilities, veterans, artists at risk, women, and youth. Its projects focus on social inclusion, dignity, participation, and rebuilding community life in small communities.
