On June 11, pro-Ukrainian activists will protest outside the Consumer Goods Forum in Amsterdam. They call out multinationals like Mondelez, PepsiCo, P&G, Coca-Cola, and Philips for continuing operations in Russia, contributing tax money to its war machine.
The action coincides with the forum (June 10–13), where top executives meet. Protesters will urge firms to exit Russia.
Activists sent a letter to Queen Máxima, who is set to speak at the event, asking her to support a corporate withdrawal from Russia.
Multinationals paid over $41.6 billion in taxes to Russia in 2022–2023. Many still sell non-essential products like chocolate and cosmetics, while Ukrainians suffer under war.
