In the combat-ridden areas of Ukraine, evacuations are often the only chance of survival for civilians. Together with AoS, we support the rescue of people from dangerous areas – despite the ongoing attacks on evacuation vehicles.
Many places along the front line have become uninhabitable. Civilians fear for their lives every day and often have no way of getting to safety themselves. At the same time, evacuation vehicles repeatedly come under targeted attack. In November 2024, an armoured vehicle was destroyed, and at the end of January, a drone severely damaged another.
We enable safe evacuations so that people can escape the war.
To keep the evacuations going, we are continuously funding new vehicles that can operate in the dangerous conditions. Every additional evacuation vehicle means more lives saved.
